There is a petrified elf woman blocking the entrance to the dungeon from the cave. Once you enter the area she's in, there will be a cutscene and Kimura describes her as a 'statue' proposing to ask Wayne for advice. Go back to Wayne to get a special potion from Susan that unpetrifies people, conveniently. Then, simply go where the elf is and there will be a cutscene for you to use the potion.
